It came to me out of nowhere the other day.

I was stuck in my own head. Comparing myself to other people. Feeling the weight of “not-enoughness”.

And then all of a sudden, tada.

There it was.

And I thought &

This is The Feeling Wheel.

It was created by Dr. Gloria Willcox.

It can be a game changer when you are trying to put words to what you are feeling.

I remember the first time my therapist gave me a copy. I was amazed.

Now, I use it quite often.

One thought leaves you with shame and discouragement (and maybe even some other self-defeating thoughts about yourself).

One question provides you space to own the reality of what is and allow yourself time to process the disappointment (or whatever

I chose to write this phrase nightly as one of my affirmations.
